Would love to return - WiFi not working **UPDATED** Problem solved

**Updated 05/06/19** I called HP support as requested by a comment on this review. I was on the phone for almost an hour, but the support rep was persistent and kept urging me not to give up (I was about to throw the printer away). After going through all the steps to make sure it wasn't the problem. I was a technical idiot, the rep tried to reset from the main panel. That does not work. Eventually, he walked me through a series of key presses that took me to a "secret" menu reserved for HP engineers. This menu allows you to completely reset the firmware to factory settings. That did it! This restored the printer to the condition in which I purchased it. When I turned it on I was able to select the self-manage option.** Original Overview **I bought this printer in late October to retire in January. I've been trying to set it up for several days and I'm tired of spending time on it. I tried to return it but a few weeks later than Revain's return or support date. So I guess I'll just throw it away. The problem is that when I initially activated it, there were two options for how I wanted my wireless network (WiFi) set up (self-managed or IT-managed). I chose IT management because I thought it would give me more customization options (plus I'm an IT guy) and now the wireless settings are no longer editable and the configuration software only works if the wireless is switched on. The USB printer works, but that's not what I bought it for. Some comments on the HP support forums indicate that there is some sort of secret password that only HP can provide that will allow you to reset the wireless connection to its original state. I sent a message to HP support but no reply. So my advice to others who have bought this printer is to be very, very careful what buttons you press when you first turn the machine on.
