I have to agree with the previous reviewer who thinks she was scammed. Unless Hot Tools products are usually very controversial, I think I've stumbled upon a fake. While Revain has great prices, my other Hot Tools straightener that I bought from a reputable beauty store costs about twice as much. I should have known better. The color of the barrel is not the same as my real Hot Tools iron and the iron doesn't get that hot even if the temperature is increased to 430, I think it's actually around 300. different results with my real Hot Tools 3 /4 inch flat iron - it heats up very quickly, curls quickly and curls last the next day. I will buy this iron again from a store where I am sure I am buying the original.
