Review on Crest Interface Gigabit Ethernet Modules by Randy Basque

pfSense fanatics say they absolutely don't use Realtek chipsets for pfSense, but I didn't really have a choice. I had an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini and needed a third network card. I didn't want to use Thunderbolt or USB so I found this and figured out the price why not try it. There is one setting I had to change to make it work stably (I actually forgot which one, but it specifically refers to Realtek NICs in the description) and everything worked fine. I decided pfSense wasn't for me, but this NIC worked great.
