This hood arrived in perfect condition. The packaging is more than adequate. Installation was relatively easy. However, there were some differences between the product and the instructions. The main thing that can influence others is the position of the mounting bracket on the wall versus where you want to position the bottom edge of the cooker hood. The instructions say it's 14.25 inches, but it's actually just under 12 inches. This could result in someone adjusting the hood too low. Luckily I measured. I installed it with an activated carbon filter. And that might explain why there's very little suction and none of the speeds. The device is noisy. I knew it would be loud. It's really loud. I'll make the chimney a little sound deadening. The clock always displays military time and cannot be changed.
