The sound of these headphones is not at all like real Apple headphones. Too bad I didn't do some research before buying as I really appreciate the clean sound of my music. These sounds are muffled and incredibly compressed. Despite being cheap, it's easy to see why. If the quality of what you hear is really important to you, I'd suggest spending a few bucks more for something better, or just look elsewhere. However, they lasted quite a long time (about a year) before I replaced them with better headphones (because I ended up losing them all). One was a gift for someone else and one was lost a few months before I got the new ones but was still working the last time I used it. Only one of them fell apart on an earpiece, but only the plastic ring around it came loose; they were still working. If you really need them and don't care about every aspect of your sound, then they're for you. Otherwise I would suggest saving up for something else.
