Review on Meguiars G7101FFP Gold Class Wash by Fred Massingill

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Gold grade is GOLD, IMO the scale

This is the best dollar car soap you can get. Everything else is either junk or overpriced for a slight improvement over the Gold Class in my opinion. In other words, I use Gold Class as the standard against which I compare all other car soaps. Reasons I prefer this soap to others: 1) Mild - imagine wishing you had Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo just for your car. *puff* you open your eyes and the golden class is in front of you. It won't wash away your wax (carnuba, man!), but it will remove dirt, grime, and bug innards with no problem. 2) Density - This material is thick and concentrated. If you're using a 5-gallon bucket, a tablespoon, maybe 1.5 trillion, is all you need. A gallon jug is enough for a few washes and then a few more. 3) Suds/Suds - Gold Class makes a good thick suds, or when I dilute it for a foam gun it makes a good thick suds. It is easy to handle with both a microfiber cloth and a glove and is easy to wash off. 4) Gold class "environmentally friendly" product has no harmful effect on car soap. Seriously, this is baby shampoo for your car. It won't protect the ozone layer, it won't reduce global warming or anything spectacular, but it won't kill the frogs in your pond or the fish in your local river (reasonably enough, folks!). 5) Smell - I know it's a matter of taste, but I like the smell. I also like that the smell goes away after a few days. It's just that I'm not all for my car smelling like fake watermelon or raspberries or anything. I like it "discreet and noble". When I pick someone up after I've described my car in detail, they know it, otherwise they only know that my car is good and will remain beautiful. Sometimes I wonder if my friends think I have little elves just keeping things clean for me.? LOL6) *Secret-Not-A-Secret* - Gold grade works for indoors too. Wash and clean the rugs/rugs and dampen them with a vacuum cleaner. If you have a cleaner car, you can make all the "once in a blue moon" (careful!) headlines. The fabric seats are cleaned by a gold-class person. Brings out colour, removes dirt and leaves no stains. After reading all this you might be wondering why not 5 stars? Why only 4? 'Cause I'm being honest, my buddy. Gold Class isn't the *best* soap. But in dollar terms, it IS. If you're the supercar type that enjoys using the latest and most advanced blueberry scented soap with microsurfactant technology as it's called, then buy some from the Chemist brand for a small quantity. funny price. And buy fun, I mean like 5x. I know this because I've tried them too, just to see if "the grass is greener there". Unfortunately it isn't. In any case, that's not enough for the money. But if, like me, you just want a good quality soap that "does it all" and does it all damn well, then buy this. Your call.
