Got this for a 5 month old kitten after spaying as she had more cone problems than my older cat. The suit is not only easier for her, she also enjoys wearing it. It is very stretchy and REALLY stretches over time. Finding the right shape is very important. My cat is very tall but thin for her age - her chest is size S and the length is size M. I ordered size M knowing I might need to alter it to fit her better. It worked for about 2 days before stretching so much that it slipped out. A few minutes with the sewing kit to make it narrower. and we're back in business. Most people probably don't need to change theirs the way I do unless their pets get too skinny or wide. If you look at the measurement chart and measure your pet, you should be able to see if this affects you.
