See my review on Woodstock D4257. This fitting connects to DC power and provides a secure fit - still requires a hose clamp as the threads (spool on the short end) are not long enough to hold the hose alone so you will need a 4" hose clamp. fits in my Delta and doesn't hang out during operation.
