Review on CANWAY Portable Wood Burning Camping Stove - Windproof & Anti-Slip Stainless Steel Backpacking Survival Stove With Bag For Outdoor Hiking, Travel, Picnic, And BBQ by Patrick Bacho

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As good as Solo Titan but $60 cheaper

I was truly surprised by the performance and quality of this stove.Things I like about this stove compared to the Solo Titan.1. Price.$60 bucks less2. 3 Piece design packs shorter.3. Burns just as good as the Solo4. The bottom holes are smaller and diamond shaped. The bottom is open and ashes fall to the ground. The bottom of the Solo is sealed and you have the turn over and shake the ashes out. (This could be better depending on your situation)5. Because of the smaller holes you can use wood pellets without them falling through. You need to modify the Solo stove to use wood pellets. You should NOT have to modify an $80 stove for wood pellets.6. The pot stands fold in for use with a camping cup. The pot stands on the Solo will not accept the usual cup. Don't get me wrong.I own and like the Solo Titan but this stove is pretty good!UPDATE: It doesn't burn pellets well. Once you fill it and cover the holes there is no air coming up from the bottom and the top holes are a distance away. Mine went out quickly before catching the top layer. I would ASSUME the same thing with SOLO.

Small but works well for s’mores at home (use outside please) if you don’t have or want a big fire pit setup. Can roast 2 marshmallows or so at a time. Find some dry sticks and break them up, should light up pretty easily. Very portable and sturdy enough to take camping and use to heat up a skillet.
