I've used my last pad for over five years; It worked ONCE and then failed the second time. I heard a terrible noise in the kitchen and fell in as liquid started pouring from the stove. I put everything under the tap and everything was fine. I figured I'd clean it well and try again next time; it was even worse. Within seconds all the soup was on the stove and on the floor. Nobody got hurt but it was pretty scary. I emailed the seller asking for a replacement and was told it's been too long since I bought it - I bought it 3 months ago but I only use the pressure cooker every now and then, especially in the summer, so in This is new in my book. Also, a pad should last for years, especially if it's only used once a month. Don't waste your money on this pad and don't expect service from this seller.
