Specialty Microfiber Cleaning Cloth

I use microfiber cloths for many purposes around the house. They are great for cleaning, dusting, drying, polishing, vacuuming up messes and anything else. This set of three towels is a great introduction to the world of microfiber if you are new to it. The set is packed in a box, so it could be a good gift for those who are just starting to do housework. You get three different types of 14-inch square cloths: a ribbed cloth for stainless steel, a low-pile cloth for glass and mirrors, and a high-pile cloth for general cleaning. If you are not sure about the purpose of each of them, an explanatory label is sewn on the back of the napkin. Each napkin does its job well. The mesh for stainless steel is ribbed on one side only. I found this one-sidedness quite limiting. If you have more than one stainless steel appliance in your kitchen, a one-sided napkin probably won't do. I have a fridge, stove and dishwasher all dirty, with fingerprints, water drips, stainless steel and three rags would be ideal...just to say the least. I use a 3M stainless steel cleaner and need a cloth to apply the cleaner and a second cloth to buff and dry. A fabric designed for glass works well for mirrors and windows. The multipurpose fabric is pretty good too. especially a better job than my everyday microfiber tweezers? Stainless steel mesh maybe.
