Review on 🔴 Red Syma X11 Remote Control Quadcopter by Brandon Barrett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best ATV for the price

OVERALL RATING AND OVERALL RATING 9.1/10 Syma offers a fantastic X11 ATV. Gear driven propellers allow for smaller motors with an extended battery life of approximately 9 minutes when upgraded to a 380mAh battery. Large rotor blades contribute to an extremely stable and predictable flight. The ATV’s durability is excellent, especially given the Revain’s amazing $24 price tag. A few minor issues relate to the sensitive throttle control and the susceptibility of hair, dirt, grass and other objects to snagging in the gears - but the pros far outweigh the cons, positioning the X11 as our TOP RECOMMENDATION for beginners by ATV pilots. There are other drones in this size class that outperform the X11 in terms of speed and agility, but the long battery life, smooth flight and overall fun factor make this drone HIGHLY RECOMMENDED even for experienced pilots. BENEFITS • Amazing price of around $24. available from AMAZON at the time of writing • Reliable, even with air cover removed (recommended for experienced pilots only) • Long battery life, approximately 9 minutes with a 380mAh battery • Smooth, controlled flight CONS • Responsive, time-consuming throttle controls Takes getting used to • Gear mechanisms require cleaning every few weeks • Limited optional features - see below for more details. Price 10/10 ($23.35 at time of purchase) The Syma X11 tops the price bracket at a whopping $23.35. In terms of size and features, it's $10 to $20 cheaper than most other comparable drones. Battery life 10/10 The standard LiPo battery is tiny at just 150mAh and you get around 5 minutes of battery life. The X11 is designed to run on larger batteries, which doesn't noticeably impact flight performance. I managed about 9 minutes of flight time with the 380mAh battery, which again puts this drone at the top of its class. Durability (9/10) here it used to be a curved propeller blade. I prefer to fly the X11 without the blade guard for maximum speed and agility, but I only recommend it for experienced pilots. With a protective cover (which is easy to install or remove and requires no screws), you will have a hard time causing damage. The only reason we stopped here is that there are small gears on the motors that drive the propellers that tend to catch hair/dirt etc; Be prepared to clean them out every few weeks to maximize the quads' performance. Flight Performance (8.75/10) If you're looking for smooth, stable performance, the X11 is best in class. Syma tuned yaw for predictability, not speed, so it doesn't make sharp turns like some of its direct-drive competitors. It's still a bouncy little quad that really can handle advanced settings. But when it comes to top speed and maneuverability, it's a bit inferior to other top performers like the HS170 Predator. One complaint I have is the throttle sensitivity: it can go from full speed to zero with a slight average, and it takes a little getting used to. Ultimately, the overall flight stability makes this ATV ideal for beginners while still being a lot of fun for experienced pilots. Controller (8/10) The controller is basically the same shape as the Xbox. controller. It feels good in the hand and although the quality of the materials is not convincing, it doesn't feel too cheap either. As mentioned in the performance section above, my biggest concern is that the throttle control doesn't scale as well as other quads. It's manageable, but will take time to get used to once you have experience on other ATVs. A decent controller for the price. Aesthetics (9/10) The X11 is currently available in three colors (red, white and black) and they all look great. The blade guard reduces the aesthetics (although it works very well) which is why this drone needs to be docked. Technical data (7.5/10) This is a simple drone with the following features/features: • Control distance of approx. 65m • No inverted flight • No flip button • This version had no camera • Has level 1 flight settings (beginner) and level 2 ( Intermediate) • Red/Blue LEDs work well and indicate quad orientation • No headless mode • No one button return • Trim control yes • Battery warning with flashing lights - about 10 seconds left so be prepared to land quickly this quad • Comes with a spare set of blades, blade guard, 150mAh battery with USB charger, screwdriver to change blades (blades can only be changed with a screwdriver) • Product dimensions HERE WE COLLECT!
