I have Windows 7 Home Premium. It wasn't plug and play, but after about 30 minutes of fiddling with settings/drivers I had it set up. The device works well once the first connection is made. You must press very hard to establish a full connection with the UV-5R radio. Interference occurs between the radio body and the end of the cable before the connector is fully inserted. Looks well made and offers good value for money, especially when combined with the CHIRP software. Give you complete control over programming your radio.
