I contacted the manufacturer, who charged me $56 for a replacement, which is almost half the price of the original. That metal frame and construction is well made and strong, but far exceeds the lifespan of the seats. You can expect to spend additional funds on this item if you want it to last as long as you expect it to. Seats are a MAJOR issue and the company is under no obligation to offer replacements to customers, even if the unit is kept indoors out of season.
