Colors are brighter and cheaper than the pictures. Golds are all yellow, no real change in tones. The same goes for bright silver, which is more like an aluminum sheen. The bobby pins are difficult to untie and you have to hold them open to lift the hair, but they are not soft and don't pull on them like you would a bobby pin. I did it and it's tearing your hair out. One of the branches was not quite fixed, so it was about to break. Decided to return them.
