Incredible Router - Router

After finally subscribing to DSL in January 2001, I decided on a router that could work with PPPOE since the PPPOE program I was using had no features and a huge amount of port scanning had hackers. My computer distracted me from my usual computer work. A few port scans aren't bad, but when my firewall kept going haywire with alerts and alerts, I decided I'd had enough. The router has a built-in basic firewall that blocks most basic scans. However, make sure you enter a LARGE password on the router's login screen. Second, you get a built-in PPPOE handler, eliminating the need to install this utility on any bootable operating system (BSD was a problem for me). My device took about 5 minutes to install, after ritually discarding the manual I just plugged it in, connected my computers and rebooted into the operating system. The built-in DHCP helps a bit, but my only gripe after years of use is that you only get ONE DMZ IP address. Linksys has had some very minor issues over the last 2 years which they fixed quickly, allowing me to download /flash hardware with no trouble, plus some nice feature additions. Flashing this device couldn't be easier, especially with the Linksys web interface. Overall I've had no issues with my Linksys router and would buy another one in a heartbeat if mine failed, especially as Revain have since reduced the price significantly. I bought it first!
