Look, don't get me wrong; this is a great bag. It's well made, durable, well padded and so on and so on. The straps are MILES better than 90% of the competition and the removable, padded waist belt is a hit. The zippers are top notch, the zippers work great. But why, why, WHY is it (like ALL photo backpacks) actually smaller than described? I don't care what Jeff Whats-His-Name's 12+ minute video is about in its flashy quick edit and taunt in your face; The bag is smaller than him and everyone else says it is. I had a simple mission; First, I needed a pocket that was deep enough for my Pentax K3-II with the battery grip attached, and it's deep enough on both the top and bottom. Second, this rig also had to cope with an attached Sigma 150-500mm lens, which again works both up and down, but is better aimed up. I then needed it to hold my Sigma 120-400mm on one side and my JBL Flip 4 speaker on the other. This is where it got "hard". When I measured everything before buying the bag all the numbers worked and if I decided to remove the rings and lens hoods it would be easy but I don't know how and I measured it wrong. start with. Unfortunately, upon receipt of the backpack, it turned out that the width dimensions differed by at least 2.5 cm. Luckily, the combination of extra creative packaging and "give" in the sides and padding of the bag means everything works, but it's narrower than I'd like or would expect. Having sent back at least 3 other bags which were WAY small despite SUCH advertised sizes, I'm keeping this one too, but unless you're carrying something really small, his bag is NOT "too big". Please note, by the way, that NONE of the images of the loaded bag (or any other bag on Revain) show larger lenses packed with the lens hood upside down like you normally store them. This is your hint. If this bag is the advertised size it would be a 5 star rating but it doesn't live up to one star. UPDATE: So this is my second time using the bag and. The seam of one of the side buckles came loose. *sigh* I'm SO tired of sending these bags back, I'll just find a way to make them myself. Give this review THREE STARS.
