cheap version that we used for cosplay/costumes
Last Halloween, one of our kids wanted a costume for a new cartoon character that wasn't popular enough for the big costume companies to make it for him. The character's body was spherical, and we thought about how to shape it. This large spherical paper lantern was perfect. With some simple modifications it fits our 6 year old. Some additional elements have been added for rigidity and covered with fabric on the outside. This really saved time as we didn't have to build the sphere structure ourselves.
