I got these to replace the keyfob shells in my "new" 2015 Chevy Traverse. Initially, the buttons would work then wouldn't. So I deducted that the 4 contact points with the battery weren't touching. I put a solid 1/2" glue dot in the center of the ring; that didn't fix the issue. Maybe the glue dot wasn't thick enough. I put another glue dot on top of it; it didn't work. Ugh.So, I cut a new glue dot in 4 parts and put it over and around the ring. That did the trick, yay! Also, this meant seriously prying the shell open a few times with a butter knife. It held up really well, so overall money well spent.
