Great projector - 2 years later and still working

For my first attempt at investing in a projector I decided to buy a cheap VVME ($194.99 at the time) which didn't work. I returned it and a week later bought this FAVI RioHD LED 3T projector. At the time, this FAVI projector cost $289, about $90 more than the VVME. It was worth every penny. It's been two years since I bought it and I haven't had any problems with my projector. I bought it as an art student with the intention of projecting images onto large format canvases to create huge paintings. If you get close to the wall you're projecting onto you can see the pixels fairly clearly, but that wasn't a problem for me. As some other reviewers have pointed out, it's better for projecting clear images or movies than web pages - web pages are a little hard to read on a wall. PROS: 1.) Great price 2.) Great picture for the price 3.) Decent sound quality and if you want to upgrade you can easily connect separate speakers to it (I only ended up doing this because my friend had extra speakers laying around but you could hear the movies I played on it very well with built in projector speakers).4.) Holds up well! I've moved this projector around the house many times for my projects, left it in my hot car, toured cities with it and it never thought to turn it on and work the way I need it to. 5.) Convenient remote working is great - I just plug in my laptop and don't have to get up until the end 6.) USB input, HDMI input, so many useful options. CONS: 1.) As some other reviewers have said, the fan is a bit noisy, but that's easily remedied by cranking up the volume of whatever you're watching. It never bothered me while watching movies or transferring images. 2.) If you go directly to the wall you are projecting on, you may find that the image is pixelated. Again, this isn't a problem unless you want to watch movies within walking distance of where you're projecting them. 3.) The projected text is a little hard to read. I wouldn't recommend this projector if you want to project text as it doesn't work as well as images. very useful for artists. All you need is a sheet or white wall and you're done.
