The one I got to replace the broken one (same model) doesn't sync to Optimum Online no matter what I do without a tech involved. Not sure if like the other poster says it has the wrong MAC address for my area or if it's blacklisted, but it's completely useless to me as is. Otherwise they are good modems, I wouldn't have needed a second one if the cable connector hadn't broken the first time.
