Works great! And the thing is silent! Yes, if you put your ear to it you can hear the rumble. But that's literally what I have to do to hear anything. I wish my HOB filter was at least half as quiet. I have a tank that is 24 inches deep and pushes air slightly to the air stone at the bottom. The air pressure control also works great and can be adjusted in a wide range. I just estimated that by reducing to the minimum you could reduce the flow by MORE than half of its maximum setting. It clearly costs more than the competition, most if not all of which are made in China. but it's totally worth the money considering these competing products suck by comparison. Cool, made in Germany.
