Anyway, it attaches to the DC77 as advertised and works well on our hardwood and tile floors, picking up pet dander from three dogs and two cats. to attach to our older thirteen year old Dyson DC17 Absolute Animal vacuum which was retired upstairs in our house when my wife destroyed our upstairs vacuum by sucking in a cat toy and burning the motor.
