I think it works well on tile and wood but don't try to use it.

Bought despite many negative reviews. I think it works great on tile and wood but don't try it on carpet as it won't work. But then it's not allowed. I don't think it sucks like a standard head but it does a very good job.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not as thick as other collections

Hope but disappointment

I agree with the other review. I have hardwood floors and pets, so I figured this accessory would glide smoothly across the floor and suck up the pet hair I'm picking up all the time. It glides well, but pet hair just collects on the brushes and doesn't get into the canister. I don't use mine anymore.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • boring packaging

It is great.

I fucking love this thing. I've used the rotary tool that came with my vacuum for years and it didn't work very well on hard surfaces. This attachment holds much more, doesn't tangle, covers a larger area, and fits under furniture more easily. Too bad I didn't get it when I first bought the vacuum cleaner.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Appearance

Disappointing performance on hardwood floors

Mainly used on hardwood floors to vacuum up dust and hair and doesn't suck much debris into the dust box. Most get stuck in the bristles on the head and then we have to clean the brush head every few minutes to try to keep vacuuming. Attaches well to the Cordless DC35 and stays attached. Seems durable but the actual function of mopping the floor isn't great.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Works but expensive

I probably need to get my head checked for spending $45 on a floorhead that was originally supposed to come with a $700 Dyson vacuum . "Try explaining that to your wife!" Anyway, it attaches to the DC77 as advertised and works well on our hardwood and tile floors, picking up pet dander from three dogs and two cats. to attach to our older thirteen year old Dyson DC17 Absolute Animal vacuum which was retired upstairs in our house when my wife destroyed our upstairs vacuum by sucking in a cat toy…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Must have attachment

Love this device. It's a lot wider than the floor nozzle that comes with Dyson, so you can cover the floor faster. Brushes are much better at picking up a lot of dirt from the floor. I have several areas where the floor transitions into another room and this is the strip that connects those two floors. I've always had issues with small particles hanging around the edges and the regular tool didn't pick them up well. This one does. He seems to be pressing himself closer to the ground. I can…

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Sad hardware
