The duo was great for clinical it is useful at home too. Just to check on the kids for ear infections.etc. It is just hard to find the ear cover probes and they can be expensive.

I ordered the opthalmascope and otoscope set for my sister for Christmas. The package arrived in a timely manner with the cover of the box showing exactly what I ordered. I'm an M3 likely going in to EM. I volunteer at a clinic that does not have otoscopes or ophthalmoscopes and thought that these might be an ok choice for use there; however, the ophthalmoscope is too bright to use on anyones eyes and very difficult to focus compared to others I've used.The otoscope only focuses at the tip of the covering that you put on, meaning that you'd have to hit the tympanic membrane before seeing it. This is painful and dangerous for the patient.Get a real one.

The ophthalmoscope is almost like a joke. It’s only a prop. Kind of disappointing because ADC is a good brand. Otoscope does the job.

It was affordable and is small enough to be carried around. I am a first year medical student and I learned of this product through another student. Since then several more people in my class have bought it and love it.

The ADC pocket combo is a great set for a student not looking to break the bank. I've been able to do everything a person with a $700 Welch-Allyn can do. Now of course there are going to be slight differences between this and a way more expensive product, but if you can get past the petty details this will serve you great for school and examining your family at home when they're sick. As for any other settings you're always going to have a wall mounted Welch set ready to be used.

Pocket ophthalmoscope! Fits in your white coat! Great price! Right? Nope.This thing doesn't do it's sole function: help you look at the optic disk. I ordered a replacement and was charged for a bulb that was smashed, as if someone stepped on it an crushed it before packing it in the box that 8' x 10' for a 1/2" bulb. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve dropped and banged these and they still work great!
