Review on Bucilla 18-Inch Christmas Stocking Felt Applique Kit - Under The Tree 86303 by Carrie Spencer

This was my first pair of Bucilla stockings. Also working on a set for the first time. The kit includes two needles, some thread, beads/shiny items, instructions and some fine felt. The instructions were pretty basic, but I definitely read some parts a few times first to get used to it. . I don't think there is enough yarn so you might have to buy extra if you go ahead and see what you need. Tip: If you want them to last, experienced kit makers have suggested cutting some parts with double threads, which has worked. and probably the reason why I ran out of certain colors halfway through. The reason, why i gave 4/5 stars is because the felt they give you for the bottom of the stockings (where the appliqué goes) and the back is of very poor quality. Another reviewer said somewhere that they are almost transparent. In earnest. Imagine an ordinary felt that you buy at a craft store. and half as thick. What I will do is buy another felt/make my own pads. So yeah, if you're just doing it for fun, this set is great. Though willing to be a little busy. But if you want to keep it going, you'll need to buy some extra stuff beyond what they offer. Be sure to purchase other kits in the future. In earnest.
