This is the best aquarium investment I've ever made to reduce the time I spend with stupid spent fishing. I have an Aqua Clear 110 filter and it works great as it reduces the need to change filter threads and clog. I cut the length about 1.5 inches to use to fill the center hole at the bottom. I just cut it slightly larger than the hole and stuffed it and it stays perfect. When I clean it, I use a large, fine-mesh petsmart strainer ($6!) to close it before removing it. It keeps him from exploding all that shit when I pull him out. Then I just dip it in a bucket and smash it with the fury of a fish farmer spending inordinate amounts of time with a pet that lacks empathy and I can't touch. You take care of fish just like you would a houseplant if you have an automatic feeder. What a great prize at the carnival! I RIGHT?!
