At the time of writing this, it costs $36. I think it's fair. This projector is really cool. It's not like the cheaper entry-level projectors our kids had. It projects a wave, almost like a fog. And you can change the colors - any two-tone color combination between red, green, blue and white. So you can have red and white waves, blue and green, or choose red and red for a full red projection, etc. You can also adjust the speed of the waves. Or they stand still. I personally find slow waves very relaxing even though they are quite bright. Especially white light is very bright. It has a speaker that plays music from a USB stick or Bluetooth. If a USB drive is plugged in, it will always be selected, so remove the drive before connecting to Bluetooth. The Bluetooth button is not like the Bluetooth icon for other devices. This is the rightmost button on the machine. You press and hold it, and then you can pair your device. Bluetooth name is BTK10. I would like to see that name in the manual or have the word "projector" in the name or something else that would make it more recognizable. The speaker itself is of surprisingly good quality! I was impressed. It won't compete with a high-end Bluetooth speaker, but it's not tinny or anything. It's actually very good! And you can control the volume. The laser beams are also impressive. They are only green. And they remind me of a museum where lamps are stuck through tiny holes in the ceiling. They look like they are actually small LED lightbulbs in my ceiling, no projection. They are really intense and amazing. You can add them to the waves or remove them. And you can only shine with these laser stars if you want to, without waves. You can set the laser stars to full brightness or set them to fade out and brighten again. At full brightness it is bright! But at half brightness it's generally perfect! At this sight I would like to fall asleep. Unfortunately, you can't choose the brightness of the laser - you can change the brightness of the waves, but not the laser stars. So if you like the semi-shade version I like, very bad for you. One has to deal with full brightness or dimming. There are many symbols on the remote control which are confusing at first glance. But the manual is pretty easy to understand, even with a less than perfect English translation. The remote control controls different things than the main unit. So you don't want to lose your remote control! Overall, my husband and I both agree it's cool. It lights up our entire living room (15 x 15 foot space?). He's not very impressed with the light show (maybe because our kids had some projection toys). But even he liked it. I would give it 5 stars if I could find a way to control the brightness of the laser stars. This is a really fun car!
