Review on Ucraft Xlite Rock Climbing, Bouldering, and Yoga Pants: Lightweight, Stretchy Trousers for Optimal Performance in Outdoor Activities by Jason Guzman

Wanted a little more stretch but very comfortable

First the good: I'm 6ft 1in, sports weight 185lbs. I wear pants 30x32 and the average size in these pants fits me. The legs are a bit long, probably an inch or two, but the laces are well done and keep the legs from getting dirty on your feet. The pants are loose but not casual and very comfortable. This is a welcome change from most modern cuts that are too tight in the hips, seat and crotch. I think most people with a 30 inch waist should be very small. I love the sporty cut of these pants. Cons: Since they're 10% elastin (the product page says '100% elastane' but also says '92% polyester, 8% elastane - now you know the real %)' I knew they were probably closer to 8% as fitted 100% but even at that ratio I expected them to match the stretch of some of my other technical garments. % cotton comfortable elastic jeans. I suspect the cotton in my jeans has more natural stretch than the recycled polyester these pants are made from. They usually make up for that with a large neckline that allows for plenty of range of motion, but I wanted more for the $70 price point. You'll feel a slight stretch here and there as you stretch or make big moves on the wall in these pants . Zip closure and single back pocket (left) The zip closure keeps your wallet or phone secure, and the slightly outward orientation means contents slide smoothly back so you don't have to sit on them. There is a small zippered pocket on the bottom of the right leg that can be used to store lip balm or credit cards/cash without getting caught in a harness. The mesh material for the pockets is nice so small splinters/sand pieces don't accumulate during outdoor climbing. The quality of the seams is satisfactory. If these pants were $40 I would probably buy 2 more pairs. For $70 I keep looking for the *perfect* pair of pants.
