I've heard of big kits that sometimes don't want to run at the full 3600MHz. I installed the kit, switched to DOCP in the bios auto and everything has been working great at 3600MHz for a few weeks. There are no problems here. The kit is installed on an ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme Alpha TRX40 motherboard with a 3970x processor. The first After Effects project I worked on used over 140GB of RAM, so a 128GB kit is definitely not enough for professionals these days. The 256GB kit seems to have enough space to keep it promising for at least a couple of years.
