Great DVD player combo, our kids love it!

We bought these to replace an aging set for our kids. We did a lot of comparisons and came to the conclusion that this device is the best for all the features you get. All the reviews about them were very good, so we chose them. They arrived a day earlier than expected. They were easy to install. They use the same type of mounting brackets as our old system and were easy to install. I installed it in about 15 minutes and took my time. The included cables are very long, reaching up to 6 feet. Both are powered by the same adapter, so only one plug is required. The cable to play the same content is also one plug per device, making it easy to connect. The remotes are also very good and use regular batteries instead of the button cell battery like many portable DVD remotes, which is great. They play content from DVDs and USB sticks. I've tried a wide range of DVDs and it has played every DVD I've tried. All the DVDs I let my kids take are copies, and many DVD players have copy problems, but I haven't found any that won't play. USB playback is also easy and works very well. I've only tried 2-3 USB movies but they worked too. The devices look good. The screens have a great picture. The bindings are solid and there was very little movement while riding. The DVD player can be opened, opening it requires some effort, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Many DVD players open too easily and feel flimsy. Being a bit stiffer most likely contributes to the longevity of the devices. Haven't been able to test the HDMI function yet, I need to order cables for our phones to test this part. There's also an issue with playing content over HDMI with Netflix and some carriers, but that's not the fault of the DVD players, it's the fault of those carriers. We plan to get cables so we can play other non-secure content from our devices. In general, we are very satisfied with these devices. We've got a few trips planned for the rest of this year so we'll put them to good use and see if they're as good as they've been. Very good product!
