The fit is perfect with no modifications.
Pump, regulator and filter bag are a perfect match. It was used to replace the fuel pump on the 2013 Polaris 500 EFI Crew Ranger. The only difficult task was to pull the old pump out of the plastic case (you have to press 3 tabs at the same time). The replacement was so easy I was very glad I didn't buy the whole pump assembly.
