This is poorly done for its intended purpose. The MagSafe charger's soldering is slightly recessed into the receiver, so the phone doesn't hold up well. Luckily, Scosche already has an excellent product that perfectly solves the problem of using a MagSafe charger in your car. Attach the Scosche plate to the back of the MagSafe washer using a standard magnetic mount (whether glued, suctioned, or popped into a cup holder). The scosche plate sticks to the magnet more than your MagSafe phone does to the MagSafe charger so it doesn't move when you pick up your phone and works great. As an added bonus, this method completely eliminates the extra leverage on this new mount and with it all the extra wobbly vibration.
