I needed an "old fashioned" (square) kitchen monitor; This crisp, DVI-enabled monitor is perfect for that. Yes, it doesn't have HDMI and it's tiny, but you can't find monitors that don't have a "widescreen" TV format anywhere. Let's hope monitor manufacturers realize that "portrait" is useless on 16x9 monitors and widescreen monitors [unless they're huge] are mostly useful for watching movies. This monitor is a pleasure and often serves as a standing workstation in my kitchen.
