This is excellent quality. They are well made and easy to put on. The soles are excellent at keeping out snow and ice, and the main part of the boot is a solid piece of rubber. So unless you melt and puncture it, it won't add moisture to your feet from the outside. Water repellent fabric runs from the ankle with a strap of sorts so you can tie it tight for a better fit and more comfort for your child. This part has slits on the sides, which makes it easy to put on and take off. I am very happy with the design and functionality.
