I got my belt yesterday when I got home from work and I still love it. I have a 42 waist and cut my belt off at line 44 and it's perfect, not much extra belt but still enough for any future weight gain that may come. The ribbon was fairly easy to cut with my heavier kitchen scissors. The buckle was really easy to put on and stays attached unless I physically undo the latch. The first time I put it on I couldn't take it off, but only because I didn't press the lever hard enough. The tighter you tension the strap, the harder you have to squeeze the release lever, which makes sense.
