I need another portable speaker for my old school DVD player and I love RGB lighting - bought this to try. I'm really surprised at how good this speaker sounds - I have a small Bose speaker that I use on a daily basis and the sound that comes out of this speaker seems to be on par with a Bose speaker. It might not be as loud as Bose, but the sound is close. First reaction when switching it on - I was skeptical - as usual this RGB Bluetooth speaker has a female voice that tells you the status of the speaker, ie. on or off, or when it's connected to Bluetooth etc. The voice you hear sounds pretty tinny and like it's stuck in a tiny box - but when you're playing music it's a different story. I've tried using other functions - and the bluetooth function works fine, it connects every time. The FM radio didn't work properly for me, but I won't be using this feature. The RGB lighting has different modes/designs and I found the breathable DEFAULT to look the best. The sound/EQ didn't work properly, just looked like a pulsing mess when the music was playing. I haven't tried Bluetooth with a phone call, but then again I didn't buy it for that. Overall I'm pretty impressed! I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone who wants a decent sounding speaker to pair with their laptop, small TV, phone etc. What a great result!
