Good quality product but will not work with WRX 2009. I cannot determine if the problem was with the car or with the remote control. I can check if my programming process was correct and if the battery in the remote control is good. So use this information however you like. Hope this helps somehow. I wasn't sure if I needed a 711 or 819 fob, I got both but after looking at them neither worked. I had to relearn on the original remote and this procedure was successful. That's how I know I've programmed correctly. Perhaps one of the remotes I received was defective and the other incompatible, or both were incompatible or not transmitting a signal. All I know for sure is that it had a good battery and the correct programming procedure, but it didn't work with a base 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX. Update: I ordered another OEM remote that was more than 3 times as good much costs like this one and this one worked.
