Works great if you know how to use it. Read This to Avoid Problems with GREEN PICTURE

This product does NOT convert video - it only allows you to connect a component video output to a VGA input. The PC monitor will think it's receiving a normal RGB signal, but you'll be sending it a YPbPr signal, causing the GREEN image that the other two reviewers complained about. However, if you're using it with home theater equipment and NOT a PC monitor, it will likely work just fine. However, to use this with a PC monitor, for example to connect an Xbox to a computer monitor, you will need one of two things: 1. A "COMPONENT TO VGA CONVERTER" (not this product). Connect it like this: Xbox Component Cable -> Component to VGA Converter -> VGA Monitor Port or 2. "Component to VGA Adapter” (yes, this product) and a monitor that natively accepts the component video signal (YPbPr) as input via a supported VGA connector, e.g. a Sync-on-Green (SoG) monitor or a monitor that specifically supports YPbPr input. You may also need to change a setting in the monitor's menu. When I clicked "Auto Adjust" on my monitor, the settings changed automatically, but I can change them myself (for MY monitor, Dell U2412M, the option was called "Color Input Format"). Again, you should be able to view component video through your PC monitor with any of these settings. The product itself has solid build quality and works great.
