I've been using this with our hermit crab for eight years now. He's tall and healthy, so I think we're doing something right. Remember that you should also purchase a dechlorinator. First, dechlorinate the water for freshwater bathing and drinking. Then you set aside some of the dechlorinated water and add salt water conditioner. Crabs should always have access to both types of water. I have found that they often use salt water when preparing to molt. Also, be sure to purchase a calcium supplement for your crab. Crabs can live for decades if properly cared for. So do your research and make sure you are willing to take care of your crabs for 10 years or more.
