My kids love ice cream and both gained 20 pounds in 2020 (distance learning period). I try to make healthy desserts like jellies and sugar free snacks. I found this ice cream maker on Amazon and made ice cream for my kids. They were so excited and read the instruction manual. My 11 year old daughter said the process was so easy. Before making ice, I put the frozen liner in the freezer for 12+ hours. and 0.5 cup vanilla yogurt. My 7 year old son mixed all the ingredients with a spoon and poured into a frozen liner. The speed at which the ice cream was made was so fast that after 2 minutes ice appeared on the edge of the frozen liner. After 10 minutes the ice got thicker. After 25 minutes the surface of the ice cream looked like liquid but my son stuck his chopsticks into the frozen liner and was so excited to find the bottom of the liner was covered in solid ice. Turn off the power switch. Some ice is soft, some is hard. But my kids love the texture, they said the texture is like sherbet. And they said that next time they want to try strawberry yogurt with milk. We love low calorie ice cream!
