I knew I was taking a gamble when I made the purchase, but I'm happy with my decision anyway. I left my PC running for 10–15 minutes after using the normal ASUS Auto Tuning software in high overclocking mode. When I got back, I completely lost it. The processor's stability was confirmed at 4930 MHz after being overclocked. Now that I've upgraded to 4800 MHz, life is great. There was no need for me to read any bios. Under full load, at 4930 MHz, the cores never got hotter than 90 degrees. Perhaps there have been updates with improved thermal connections inside the case recently; but, in my experience, the new product is not subpar to its forerunners. Of course, it is intriguing to speculate on the rate at which the percentage would have been accelerated had I not disabled the overclocking software.
