Completely satisfied

I used this kit to insert bushings into canvas curtains that I used to separate my basement workshop from the rest of the basement for heating and I am delighted with the results. I used 8 0z canvas and had to fold the top in thirds to get the length I wanted - I didn't want to cut it - although I did have to use a few extra hammer hits on the cutter and seating die. thanks to a triple-fold tarpaulin and perfectly matched eyelets. I didn't bother using a block of wood for cutting, instead using a larger, sturdier piece of wood from my scrap pile - although if you don't have scrap like me, the supplied block of wood will probably suffice. The cutting tool, setting punch and anvil appear to be made of hardened steel rather than cheap cast iron and have withstood hammering on their striking faces well with no more than the normal wear and tear one would expect from a metal object. hit hard with a 16 ounce hammer. The holes have been "cut clean" and all the eyelets fit and look good with no blemishes. I think this tool will serve my needs for quite a while and will be a welcome addition to my workshop. However, what surprised me was that the 24 pieces of bushing listed in the description are actually 24 full bushings, not 12 top and 12 bottom pieces. 24 pcs total. I ordered another set of 24 grommets because I thought it would only be 12 and I knew I would need around 18-20 for my work, but I feel like I'll need them over the course of the will use time.
