Yes they are inexpensive. But they bend easily and are very light. Can work for light applications. The directions are absurdly formulated. I don't mind buying products that are made all over the world, but for God's sake hire a competent translator to produce instructions and don't try to fit all the illustrations onto something the size of a business card.

This kit works like a charm if you follow a few simple laws of physics. First, make sure the hole for the bushing is on a piece of high-density wood on a hard surface. I have a set of 1/4" grommets. The curtains I use have 4 layers of fabric at the top. The 2 layers of the face material are the thickness of regular fabric, while the other 2 are thick fabric with sun protection. The fitment bushings was very difficult. I'm afraid they will fall out. I bought this to place the grommets in a duck fabric and I managed to pierce about 50 grommets, all of them good held up (although some of the fabric around the eyelets was still worn). I bought this a few days ago and have just started using it. It worked great! Using the hole punch was easy. I just pushed it against the tarp, turned it side to side and it cut through the tarp.
