I'm updating my rating from 1 to 3. The microscope is great and fun. The camera is the only weakness that seems to hold back USB 2.0 a lot. The frame rate is low (it's advertised as such) but to use the software I have to turn the video resolution down to medium most of the time or it throws out bad recording errors. Even on medium settings you sometimes get bugs and when it does the only way to avoid continuous bugs is to exit the software, disconnect the camera, re-enter the software, reconnect the camera, then appears it to work fine for a while until it pops out error again. rinse and repeat. I think it's just having trouble keeping up with its own data stream, which is why it's throwing an error, USB 3.0 models are probably much better.
