Bluetooth almost no longer works after 8 months

It worked fine for the first month, then the Bluetooth kept disappearing. (It's not my phone, I've had 2 top phones since I bought it and they connect perfectly with everything else.) Now just 8 months after I bought it, it barely connects via bluetooth, and my phone doesn't even connect. Find it half the time. My Monsoon stereo worked great, the ONLY reason I bought it was for the bluetooth feature. I don't know if I got a bad machine because other people I've seen had great results with rcn210 reproductions, but my experience was terrible.
