For securing photos. Big capacity. If I had to add a design feature, I would add a slightly roughened area on one side of the aluminum lid to write on with a thin permanent ink pen and/or add labels of the correct size to write on. The biggest problem with flash drives is that they are not identified once files are saved to them.
