It's not the hat's fault. That's my big (7 5/8") old head! They tend to fit snugly on me. I wish they made a jumbo! I have to keep it in a hat carrier between wears or else I get a headache: D It's a HIGH QUALITY hat in my collection Flag, Large/X-Large **UPDATE** The cap I ordered has the American flag on the O. It's a vinyl(?) appliqué over the metal O. CAP IF YOU WANT IT TO STAY GOOD! The sticker on mine will peel off if it hits something hard. This is not a defect or a material issue. You just need to be a little more careful when caring for this beautiful cap :)
