Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money on this kit, I only bought it to restore my 2002 Chevy Express 3500. Model number 4L80E. I am very disappointed with this kit. I opened the box first and found the oil pan gasket folded in half, then I found all the clutches and plates which are fine, plus a couple of bags of o-rings, washers, gaskets and filters. There was a parts list that mentioned large items but no rings, gaskets etc in bags. Many disappointing problems arose after the restoration. first the rear seal was the wrong size so had to order one, then the center shaft seals didn't fit properly and had to be driven in, worked almost to the point of cracking and I had to order a replacement. then many wearing parts were not included (discs etc.) when trying to rebuild the valve body, 1 included screen was the wrong size and did not fit. many necessary screen filters were not included, I had 2 broken springs in the battery compartment that were not included. By the way, there were NO feathers included in this basic recovery kit! The kit came with a bill of materials, but no diagrams, photos, instructions, etc. So when I called the company about the missing components, it was almost impossible to talk reasonably about what I did and didn't have. I restored 4 shipments. in the past and it was the most disappointing set I have ever worked with. My advice is find another kit from a different manufacturer. This kit was more of a headache than anything else. I am very disappointed and still without a car waiting for the parts that should be included in this kit from the dealer. not worth buying
