Bought this cord for a 1994 GMC Sierra. It turned on after about 1 minute. It has some flexibility, so it's not difficult to work with. The last one is stable so it doesn't slip out somehow. It ended up being a bit shorter than the other cable I used that I still had on the tailgate. However, I'm pretty sure it's due to the tension of the old cable and they were originally the same length. It was plugged in for the test and I was standing by the back door with another person. It was just 600+ pounds. I would say it has been tested and passed!
